Two 5GHz radios

I have 3 radios in my Linksys LN1301, 2 of them are in 5Ghz band. Does it make any sense to set them to one SSID? I did that on channels 36 and132 and all the clients are connected to channel 36.

Generally speaking, devices with 3 radios are intended to have two radios used for normal wifi (i.e. client connections) and the third dedicated as an uplink or mesh (wireless bakchaul) connection.

If you're not using wireless uplink or mesh, the third radio (i.e. the 'extra' 5G radio) should simply be left disabled.

if you have devices that only support WPA2 or only 802.11n on 5Ghz, it's worth using that radio for these devices.
