Trying to build 24.10, radicale2 svc pkg missing?

I thought I would try to build 24.10 to upgrade my 23.05 installation, but I’m having trouble with a missing package. I’ve been using radical2 for a little while, and I like it. Certainly have a lot of stuff in there, like cal and contacts. But, imageBuilder complains:

Building package index...
ERROR: unable to select packages:
  radicale2 (no such package):
    required by: luci-app-radicale2-25.361.25701~26ec03c[radicale2]
make[3]: *** [Makefile:227: package_install] Error 2
make[2]: *** [Makefile:167: _call_manifest] Error 2
make[1]: *** [Makefile:345: manifest] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/pdestefa/software/OSes/LEDE/openwrt-imagebuilder-x86-64.Linux-x86_64'
make: *** [Makefile:41: manifest] Error 2

I tried to find a replacement—radical3 would be awesome—but I couldn’t find anything in the package repo, although I may not be searching correctly.

Does it say this service is dropped in 24.10 somewhere? Has it been replaced by a pkg with a completely unrelated name that doesn’t match lexical search? Any other advice for me?

No, but the buildbot log shows that the package radicale2 does not compile ok at the moment. (neither in 24.10 nor in master)

Fix the package to compile? (somebody interested in it needs to fix it...)

@Pepe is discussing that in https://github.com/openwrt/packages/pull/27999

Okay, thank you!!

Use auc/owut/luci-app-attendedsysupgrade., no radicale2 there though...

The simplest and quickest solution to this problem would be to create a package for Radicale 3.x
