TP-Link TL-WR841ND V14.2 (Hardware MOD 8Mb/64Mb to make compatiable with V13)

I just bricked TP-Link TL-WR841ND V14.2 with SNAPSHOT build.

as per https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd
V13 and V14 has same SOC,
If I change FLASH to 8Mb and RAM to 64Mb, can I use
"openwrt-18.06.4-ramips-mt76x8-tl-wr841n-v13-squashfs-tftp-recovery.bin image" ?

No, even if the devices are similar, they are not identical and demand dedicated images.

Isn't the v14 only 4/32 while the v13 is 8/64 . So i am guessing that is the main reason one would need a different/smaller image for v14.
I just checked tp-link firmware and that confirms that v14 is just that smidgen under 4Mb
