Tp-link AX23 wrong firmware version number after reverting

We hope to get a solution soon. I need to use easymesh on my AX23

Is this a AX23 wide issue? There is another thread on this forum about a user with AX23 hopping back and forth between openwrt and stock.

AFAIK you can go back and forth, but you can't upgrade/downgrade stock.,

Right, well that's a shame.

Hopefully it gets fixed since 2 routers are affected by this.

Have you got a serial connection as I'd like to check a few things but I've not found anyone who has both an ax23 and a serial connection.

I unfortunately do not, Just got the device yesterday, first router in a long long time. Not too confident in opening up a brand new device :(.

Hopefully someone more confident with opening devices comes along...

I've got one of these coming, but I'll be away from home most part of next week.

You'll have serial on it?

@frollic what's your region? Anyone tried the US variant?

EDIT = The one person above flashed the wrong region firmware, so....

We have someone have a potential solution here.

Still need a detailed info on how to get it done on the AX23

Take a gander here

Also this might simplify the decryption

@hecatae got it, v1.20 EU, fw ver 1.1.0 Build 20230725 Rel. 56344(4555).

what do you want me to do ?

@frollic could you share a picture of your serial setup?

Is this the process of making an updated sysupgrade tool for US?
