I need assistance with my TP-Link Archer AX23 v1 router. It was functioning correctly until an ISP technician came to set up my internet (PPPoE). I briefly stepped away, and when I returned, I noticed the router was no longer functioning and was displaying a solid red light in centar(internet led light). I’m not sure what changes were made during this time. Since then, I’ve been unable to revive it using TFTP, SSH, or the web interface. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
So, After I asked the ISP technician what he did with my router, I didn’t get a clear answer. While I was busy offering them drinks, the technician was holding the router and might have pressed the WPS or reset button or maybe he did something on web interface. I wasn’t sure because I wasn’t directly watching. Since they couldn’t set up my router, I let them configure their own router. It was only later, after they had left, that I realized something was seriously wrong with my router.
How did you managed to get the DFS network working. There seems to be that some channels that I hop into does not seems to work at all, I cannot seems to get the DFS channels. I did do a restart and it seems to be not working. I have a firmware verison 23.05.2. I have to change the country code to US. (not SG) and i cannot seems to change channel to DFS. at all.
Sorry for the late response, I’ve just seen your question. I didn’t make any specific changes to the DFS settings, just enabled both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals through SSH. If that’s what you’re referring to, I haven’t encountered issues with accessing DFS channels. If I’ve misunderstood your question, please feel free to add more details for clarity.
Here in Serbia, everything is set to auto, and I haven’t had any problems. Maybe the issue is due to many routers in your area using the same channels, but I haven’t faced that problem either. I would suggest trying to change channels according to your country’s regulations or check with your isp. But if that’s not the issue, please provide me with more details so I can understand better.
