ToH birthday / some statistics

I'm three days late with this posting, but better late then never.

The ToH as we know it today had been implemented on 27-08-2015 (so the 5th birthday).
It contained 947 devices back then.

Only about 6 months later I took more detailed numbers than just the amount of devices, therefore statistics start on 06.04.2016. For those who are interested, see a comparison 2016 vs. 2020 below:

I didn't know the ToH had a birthday!

It's interesting to see the rise of brands and targets.

Ona separate note, I think it makes more sense to exclude unsupported devices from the statistics. For example, it more useful to know how many VDSL devices are supported than how many exist!

That particular question is easy to answer, https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/hardware/soc/soc.lantiq - the vr9/ VRX2xx devices (~21, augmented by counting https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/lantiq/xrx200/ - plus around 3 in flight/ in limbo, fritzbox 3490/ 7490 (lantiq+ath79 dual-SOC for the wireless), easybox 904 xDSL (non-standard bad block table for its NAND flash, 'weird' switch setup and rt3883-iNIC wlan with a proprietary firmware and a bad driver)).

Thanks @slh. I know that the answer is there.

It was an example anyway; my point was that the statistics could be more useful if they are about the supported devices (because if a device exists in the ToH but is not supported and unlikely to get supported then it doesn't interest us here, does it?).

It very well could prompt someone to work on adding support!
