TalkTalk (UK) Full Fibre FTTP with OpenWRT

Hello everyone

I'm wondering if anybody has OpenWRT with TalkTalk Openreach FTTP (aka the Eero package)? The threads I can find are all based on FTTC.

From what I understand with TalkTalk FTTP and a completely fresh OpenWRT install, all I have to do is plug an ethernet cable from the ONT and into the WAN port of the router?

This should work because TalkTalk is DHCP. The only thing I'm not that sure on is vlan tagging but that only seems to be for FTTC connections.

Thanks for any info

That should be all that is necessary, assuming that your ISP is indeed using DHCP with no VLANs. Try it and see what happens.

https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-fttp-wan-setup -> just connect WAN port to ONT ethernet port.
