Switching DDwrt to OpenWrt on tplink WR1043ND V2

Hello.

Switching from ddwrt to openwrt on this device should be smooth ? or should i do something different as opposed to what's written here ?

I currently have ddwrt running on it but i installed openwrt on an asus router and i'm very happy with it and would like to install it on this tplink as well.

  1. from DD-Wrt, go back to stock firmware
  2. from stock firmware, install OpenWrt
