Mainline kernel supported wifis, looks like developer put only minimum required customisation to support device.
Try to dd all mtd partitions to /tmp, then download and binwalk boot kernel and ubi, look for dts and maybe gpio and led config files
Other - get 3.3v usb serial adapter and see if you get uboot option to netboot external kernel.
If you dont feel up to the task you can stop right here, or wait 24h maybe someone from other side of globe finds similari5ies with alr@ady supported device or other shortcut.
