Support for TP-Link Archer C4000 v2

Hello,

I just picked up this device and was wondering if it was possible to run OpenWRT on this router?

Hardware specs can be found here: https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/TP-LINK_Archer_C4000_v2.x

and here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details/cat-9_Archer-C4000.html

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I did a search but did not find anything. Thank you.

I'm also interested in this.

Is it possible for me to donate a router to have this development encouraged?

Hi guys,

Is there any planning for TP-Link Archer C4000 v.2 firmware ?
I need to convert LAN port into WAN port. The existing WAN port is not working and i just use it as AP now, it is a waste of money.

regards.

as broadcom wifi have crappy opensource driver( no 5ghz, and max wifi g (54mbps) is won't do any good

is there any news about support for c4000?

There is no news to be expected for this device, those who have the experience to port devices, generally avoid Broadcom due to their (lack of-) driver support. While this particular hardware could be supportable, there are plenty easier and more interesting alternatives.
