Support for Router Model: JIDU6101 (Jio Air Fiber ) (Model:RARHGLK00103 by443) Chipset / SoC: MediaTek MT7986AV (Filogic 830) WiFi Chipset: MediaTek MT7976 (Dual Band) Switch Chipset: MediaTek MT7531AE

Dear OpenWrt Development Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to kindly request your attention and support regarding my router:

Router Model: JIDU6101 (Jio Air Fiber ) (Model:RARHGLK00103 by443)

Chipset / SoC: MediaTek MT7986AV (Filogic 830)
WiFi Chipset: MediaTek MT7976 (Dual Band)
Switch Chipset: MediaTek MT7531AE

Despite multiple attempts to flash various OpenWrt snapshots and community builds intended for similar MT7986-based devices (such as the BPI-R3 and MT6000), none of the firmware images have been compatible with my router. Each attempt has either resulted in boot failures, integrity check errors, or incomplete hardware detection.

As this router features the popular and modern MT7986 SoC and MT7915 wireless chipset — both supported in OpenWrt for other devices — I sincerely request if you could kindly consider customizing or adapting an OpenWrt firmware build specifically for this hardware platform.

Providing OpenWrt support for this device will not only benefit individual users like me but also the broader open-source and security research community, given the increasing availability of such routers in the consumer market.
I am willing to provide any technical details, boot logs, or hardware specifications required by the development team to assist in this effort.

Thank you very much for your time and dedication to this wonderful project. I deeply appreciate your consideration.

You will be responsible for the vast majority of the work necessary to add OpenWrt support for your device. This is, in large part, because you have this in your hands (most of the rest of the devs probably do not).

You can start here:

First things first, stop flashing random files to unsupported device.
Can you get system boot log from the device web interface, or even better enable telnet or ssh to their linux? You will certainly need to open the device and connect (3.3v) serial ttl adapter to try to override boot chain and tftpboot similar device's openwrt kernel to explore further.

The progress of getting an Openwrt firmware for this device is here, in this thread.

If you could help with boot log and a link to firmware upgrade site.... Maybe we get 1 inch closer to supporting or never supporting this device?

you have to compile it yourself bro , by dumping its .dts from oem firmware and later flashing/modding bootloader /FIP partition to load other firmwares, its bootloader is rejecting unsigned firmware , connect here on telegram for more , if you are also ready to make some contribution , and i also invite other openwrt community, who are willing to support for this router. https://t.me/airfiberTweaking

Accept my joining request.
