Support for Ralink RT3350

I have a router that reports itself as an

  • D-Link DIR-600 B2
  • SoC Type: Ralink RT3350 id:1 rev:2
    (taken from dmesg)

The TOH on https://lede-project.org/toh/start?dataflt[Model*~]=600 all points to the same OWrt package, but the release seems outdated, 17.01.2 compared to latest stable. Does it mean that it will not be supported in the future since the release 17.01.4 is missing for D-Link DIR-600 B2?

and there is stuff at looks odd on lede-project.org/toh/hwdata/d-link/d-link_dir-600_b2

It states the following:

LEDE Supported Since Rel: 17.01.1
LEDE Supported Current Rel: 17.01.2

but the following is also listed:

Firmware LEDE Install .../17.01.4/targets/ramips/rt305x/lede-17.01.4-ramips-rt305x-dir-600-b1-squashfs-factory.bin
Firmware LEDE Upgrade URL: .../17.01.4/targets/ramips/rt305x/lede-17.01.4-ramips-rt305x-dir-600-b1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

which means that 17.01.4 is supported or what?

The dataentry was a bit out of sync.
I just corrected that.

Sorry if I seem to high-jack this thread.

But I also have a D-Link DIR-600 B2 (I think). From my dd-Wrt status-page:

  • Dlink-DIR600 rev b
  • Firmware Version: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std - build 21061
  • Kernel Version: Linux 3.2.41-svn21039 #101 Mon Mar 25 10:30:36 CET 2013 mips

I've been using this for 4 years; time to upgrade, I know. But I'm very happy with it.
Only "problem" is that now my ISP has finally got IPv6 working, but this DD-Wrt firmware does not support it.
(maybe it does, but I fail to figure out how).

So after discovering this cool LEDE project today, I thought if you have a more up-to date firmware
for this DIR-600 with IPv6 and a working WiFi (I saw some links saying WiFi support for some DIR-600 was flaky).

So what are my options?

Once you detemine which "B" version you have...

https://lede-project.org/toh/views/toh_fwdownload?dataflt[Model*~]=dir-600&dataflt[Versions*~]=b*

B1 and B2 use the same firmware. The version should be on the nameplate sticker on the bottom.

Thanks guys. I'll check those links out.
