Support for new Archer c5 v4

just checked, wan is not in devices but pppoe-wan is also missing

update: reinstalled openwrt, added pppoe details in /etc/config/network and enabled Software flow offloading. flowtable ft devices were updated to eth0.1, eth0.2 and pppoe-wan. I am getting the full connection speed now

Finally, today's snapshot seems to have worked well. for Lan Wan as well as the Wifi working well except one error which I can live with on LUCI

Switch switch0 has an unknown topology - the VLAN settings might not be accurate.

I am not touching it as the router finally worked and will not touch till I feel the need

You can ignore the warning "Switch switch0 has an unknown topology", LuCI is not adapted to such a configuration. However, it does not harm anything.

In https://github.com/namiltd/openwrt/tree/openwrt-23.05-rtl8367cd I created a version based on 23.05.4 for routers TP-Link Archer C5 v4, TP-Link EC220-G5 v2 and Mercusys AC12G v1 (8M). You can test it.

Hey guys, I just installed 19.07 from the OpenWRT wiki for this device (Archer C5 V4). However I am experiencing frequent packet loss and slow connection speed on both Wifi and Lan, 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

Any idea what to do? Or what snapshot to install ?

Hi, in version 23.05 wifi speed band 5G speed limit is 5 mbps my isp have 10 mbps in this repository
https://github.com/namiltd/openwrt/tree/openwrt-23.05-archer-c5-v4

Please explain the problem in more detail.

I previously generated a .bin from that repository with that branch, but when increasing the speed of the IPS from 5 Mbps to 10 Mbps, the 5G band delivers up to 5 Mbps

I understand that the problem concerns the USB dongle LTE/5G.

First, check the operation on the snapshot.
Second, you did not attach any logs.
And third: if it concerns the USB dongle, it is not a problem with Archer C5 v4 but with the support of your modem in the 23.05 release. It is possible that it requires entering additional AT codes, etc. You could search in other sections of the forum.

To sum up:
Check smapshot.
Provide what USB dongle it is.
Attach logs

The connection is ethernet, cat 6 support 1G point to point from isp to device

So you confused 5G with 5GHz and didn't address my other comments. I can't help you with that sutuation.

Is wifi band 5GHZ

I flashed snapshot and done

@mietekn
Your v23.05.5 source for the Archer C5 v4 is working flawlessly. The only thing needing correction is the LEDs aren't working. In SNAPSHOT they are OK.

For 23.05.5 I found a problem with hanging WiFi 2.4.
Which LEDs do not work? Was it correct for 23.05.4?

Power works by OpenWRT standard (blinks on boot, goes to solid when done). Others, not OK.

Only tested with SNAPSHOT, LEDs OK, WAN speed not good with 'Software Offloading' enabled.

Please paste output of command: cat /sys/kernel/debug/gpio
