maybe can be same as RB750Gr3? have same hardaware but with SFP module

I'd also be interested in this device. However, considering that support of the similar Ubiquity EdgeRouter X SFP does not include the SFP port, I'm afraid, support for the Mikrotik HEX S would look similar, i.e. everything might work but the SFP port. But in that case you can simply buy the regular HEX model. I do prefer the new dark case of the HEX S, though...

Hi! I'm allso really interested in this model. I have one and and sfp module. works great so far. If there is a serious developer who wants to make this model work with openwrt I'll sponser the hardware.

but i need SFP

and finally i see

mtd-mac-address = <&hard_config 0x0010>;
			mtd-mac-address-increment = <0>;
###
			mtd-mac-address-increment = <1>;
###
			mtd-mac-address-increment = <2>;

Hi Guys,
any news on this device and openwrt support?

There is an updated pull request here for this device.
It should only need minor changes and is awaiting review.

If you can compile that branch, any extra testing would be great.
