Support for ACER Connect Enduro M3 5G?

Do you know it would be possible to support OpenWRT for ACER Connect Enduro M3 5G router?

Based on: MediaTek Octa Core Cortex A78/A55 up to 2,4 GHz

I don't know what modem is installed in this device but support many bands and looks like can be good alternative for GL-Inet E750v2, as have 5g support.

no ethernet port usually rules out device support ...

Even if there is a usb port which in original firmware can act as network device?

It looks like very good device for openwrt as mobile router.

Tht does not solve anything.
User guide shows android-like screen layout.
Manufacturer is silent about specs. No update files on the webs either.

If it is android in most advanced menu tap 10x on build version which will enable extra menu with adb and generating bug tarball. No Android devices supported here, better chance with headless or small screen lineageos or postmarketos.

If it is not android - still to see firmware file, or you opening the device and backing up flash memory.

There is never device - Acer Connect M6E - i made some research and started new topic:

Zero info from you basically means nothing can be done. OpenWrt supports headless chromebooks. Not so good with touchscreen android.

I provided all information what i found in new thread related to M6E device, i think screen is not needed - maybe for displaying things as in Mudi E750v2 - about status but nothing more is needed i think…

unless you open it up, to see if you can start talking to it, progress will go exactly nowhere.

but as @slh wrote in your other thread, support isn't very likely to ever happen anyway.

How are we supposed to start ADB on your Android. Either way it will be totally locked down device.

@brada4 @frollic let’s move to thread related to M6E to have consistent data.

I will post answers here: Support for Acer Connect M6E?
