Support Cudy wr3000s

Hi I have cudy wr3000s, I modified master branch source code according gpl firmware from cudy but i don't know how to enter uboot menu in serial console?

Neither do we, and you own the device, there's however Cudy WR3000S Support.

Search is a cool thing...

That post is closed and there is nowhere say how to get into uboot menu. Its locked ?

Ok i find it (reset press and power on). now i am on the uboot menu. Ok i will try my kernel a\nd then if its work i will create patch

@frollic @CHKDSK88 any suggestion how to test build ?
Currently i will use this device as router without turning on wifi so if you have any suggestion to test wifi or any other before i create patch i will try to do it.

boot an initramfs using tftpboot or bootm in boot loader.

once booted, make backups of all partitions.

after that you can attempt to flash your device with the image you created.

That i already have it and running. I am more curious what other thing to test when i have running openwrt build. I already done sysupgrade and i have running my kernel and now i am preparing to test it in router modewithout wifi.

Any chance of submitting this to Cudy to get it signed so normal users dont need to serial to upgrade to openwrt?

until it's merged, "normal users" will have to compile their own images, to get WR3000s support.
the compiling is probably a bigger obstacle, than serial.

I don't know, but i think first need to be merged and then we can contact cudy support with image

Do you know how log took to start review new device pull request ?

Hi, I can see the sysupgrade image on firmware selector 24.10 rc2

And the intermediate fw from Cudy has also been made available.

Do you have the link? I can see a few people made request for intermediate firmware on 14 dec. I have checked cudy google drive also. Thanks

Thank you for all you hardwork

Please do let us know about it. I'm considering buying the device, it's pretty decent hardware.
Can we assume that installing will be similar to the WR3000, once the cudy unsigned sysupgrade will be published? It's much easier than doing FTP from u-boot console.
