Support Asus RT-AX52 Pro (very similar to RT-AX52 no-pro)

Hello, I bought a new device. Can I install OpenWrt?

  • My device doesn't have a USB port. Would transferring the img file using SCP and performing the installation work?
  • Is the Ax52 img file suitable for the Ax52 Pro version?

It is not 100% same, maybe @achterin can offer expert advice?

Enable SSH - login/password is same as web UI and restart router and collect boot log.

Create code box </> and paste the log in the box (vi text editor like notepad++)

Obviously disable SSH on the router after. It is same user and password as web, just different client…

no permanent change on the router, I am just trying to get some info once author of AX52 support tunes in :wink:

Looks like the same hardware to me, when comparing the listed specs on their page. But we can only be sure if one opens up the case and takes pictures of the board.
