just to report tp-link Archer A7 v5.0 firmware version 1.0.11 Build 20190810 rel.50990 (5553) flashed with OpenWrt openwrt-19.07.5-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-a7-v5-squashfs-factory.bin
over wifi did not work. wired connection worked like a charm.
Flashing a device should always be done over the most reliable connection available (Ethernet). Better safe than sorry.
