Some questions on setting up OpenWrt as managed switch and AP

I am trying to set up a managed switch and AP following a discussion here, and the device is a Xiaomi Mi Router Mini. I closed WAN and WAN6, assigned all ports as eth0.1 and set br-lan to DHCP client. After rebooting devices under the router has no network access, even to the upstream router. Did I make some wrong configs?

I also tried directly bridging WAN to LAN. Though it work, the router seems to be no longer able to get IP address after rebooting, thus I couldn't manage it any more.

Er... It turns out that I used a faulted cable...
