[Solved] Archer c6 v2 5G radio disabled after updating to 24.10

hey guys yesterday i flashed 24.10 stable on tp-link archer c6 v2.

now 5G is disabled i tried to enable it but it is not working.

can i go back to 23.05?

going from stock ?

see warning in https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c6_v2

try 24.10rc7, TP-EAP245, error log. ath10k - #6 by frollic, using the C6v2 image, of course.

It is documented in release notes, get back to 23.05.5 and wait for 24.10.1

is it ok?

looks sane, yes.

now should i download the sysupgrade image from the same page and do the sysupgrade in the router?

yes,

might want to export the settings, not sure the wifi config part is interchangeable between the two drivers.

no problem i will set it up from scratch like a newly flash openwrt.

i flashed rc7 as per your instruction now there is no 5g radio

when you should downgrade again, as @brada4 advised you to.

Okay for downgrading I should flash the factory image than sys upgrade or just flash the 23.05.05 sys upgrade?

you should be able to sysupgrade again.

Okay thankyou so much

A good practice is to make a config backup if sysupgrade does not work out right and you need to downgrade or reset configuration.
