SMB shares unreachable after installing LEDE - Solved!

I ran into a strange problem after installing LEDE and wanted to post about it in case it could help someone else.

I just replaced my router with a TP-Link Archer C7 V2, which I then flashed with LEDE. Everything seemed to be working well, except the SMB shares on my Windows 10 machine were unreachable; any attempt to connect to them would simply time out.

Well, the cause ended up being the Windows firewall. For some reason, Windows categorized my network as a public network instead of a private one, and so it turned the Windows firewall up to full strength. I'm still not certain why this happened, since all I did was switch out the router, but perhaps it appeared to Windows to be a new, untrusted network, and so it treated it with caution. This computer is connected via ethernet, by the way.

Reclassifying the network as "private" solved the problem.
