I can't find the RT-AX89X in the available devices. Is this router supported?

Why do you need officially supported device status?
Is this status really that important?

There are many routers in the world that do not have official support from OpenWRT, but there are working OpenWRT firmware for them.
OpenWRT has many Chinese forks and there are many routers that you have never even heard of.

I have a router Zyxel Keenetic Giga3, which has stable firmware since from OpenWRT v21. I couldn't add support for this router to the official repository (but I tried).
