I am looking for a dumb AP for my existing pfsense x86 router. I will buy it from the USA, so I need to know which one to choose from these 2. both are similarly priced.

Didn't check if u-boot was interruptible, not enough hands
Serial is easily accessible once you've removed the top cover.

but RG-E6 can be supported, I am okay even with a snapshot build.
You also had one? can you confirm the hardware and wireless specs for the RG-E6?

How is the Wi-Fi performance compared on both? do you expect RG-E6 to have higher bandwidth(on stock firmware) compared to WAX620?
AX6000 vs AX3600, what do you think ?
I've got the RG-E6 packed down, and got no WAX620 to compare with.

AX6000 vs AX3600 are more of marketing terms, that is why I was after actual hardware specs.
I am getting the same price dollar to dollar for both. so need to decide on better hardware.
MT is always preferred, with the WAX you're going the QCA route, but at least it's supported.

From US....why not consider Zyxel NWA50AX PRO or Netgear WAX220?

as long as shipping is minimal, I will consider any router with the above requirements.

2.5Gbit ports: 2x which is great.
Wifi6 802.11ax 5 GHz 4x4 + 2.4GHZ 4x4
this one seems to be the best of the three.

same hw as the GL-MT6000, no eMMC, but 3.5x cheaper.
~400MB flash available, using ubootmod.
