Hello, I have tried (and I think successfully) reverted back to the stock firmware on my r7800 using the method outlined here: Netgear R7800 exploration (IPQ8065, QCA9984)
The problem I am having is now I can't access the netgear router page using 192.168.1.1 but I am able to access my router settings using http://www.routerlogin.com. When I got to 192.168.1.1 I get this page:
Are you sure that the autocomplete is not adding the text after 192.168.1.1? There is no luci in stock.
Wow, you're right.. it keeps doing that for some reason. I tried 192.168.1.1 on a different browser (microsoft edge) and I am able to access it there. Was using chrome where it keeps adding the text after 192.168.1.1. Thank you.
Delete your browser cache, browsers tend to be very sticky once they encounter a HTTP 301 permanent redirect.
