Removed IPtables, now routing to WAN is screwed

Good luck on your job search.

https://bugs.lede-project.org/

there's no where to report a bug there, and the mail listed there does not exist, i tried sending an email to that address, and in was not delivered.

There is a link in that page to "https://github.com/openwrt/packages/issues"; you should file the bug there. If you have problems with the wifi drivers for your device, I would file them under the "kernel" package.

Thanks, that's helpful!

Perhaps...use the button that says "Add new task" or "Add multiple tasks..."

I have a feeling though, you won't see it...even though there's over 1,100 bug reports there...

(Hint: you have to SIGNUP)

If you report is something like: "I removed IPTables, now LAN-to-WAN doesn't work, please fix..." Just be aware the standard fix is likely "re-install iptables." You may want to classify it as a 'Feature Request' for an alternative NAT software (as opposed to a 'BUG' of LEDE, Linux or iptables) instead...and clearly explain in that report why the Linux Netfilter Suite doesn't work in your case.

i already fixed that issue, what i want to report is the wireless problems, that others with the same chip seem to have.

@jwoods,

I would expect to see a warning on a LEDE device page if more than one person reported an issue, and it was confirmed by the LEDE team.

Your expectation is valid, unfortunately this has been reported by many users for quite some while:
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/12313 this is also posted by me earlier in this thread.

Also do you really have to be such a "smart ass"? Sure you had a point about the certificates, but that point was made already. So please contribute to the discussion or just ignore this topic entirely and don't waste your and our time. And what did you truly expect? there are really some in depth answers in this topic and you just list a bunch of general 802.11 settings and expect a decent reply?

@Undertaker666, You asked why this issue was not mentioned at the product FAQ of your router, unfortunately its almost imposable with LEDE's current install base to list all target specific problems somewhere people can easily find. For most of them it's still the users responsibility to browse the forums and see if people are having problems with the target directly or it's internal hardware components separately. I know this is not user friendly but for now there is just no other way.

@lleachii, Other than the fact that you had the "subject" wrong, your explanation is indeed valid. Maybe you can follow that approach @Undertaker666?

@Undertaker666, Maybe it's an option to either change the OP or close this Topic and create a new one with the actual problem? That would make more sense because clearly people are interpreting it wrong. In their defense, it has become quite a large topic and takes allot of time to read all responses.

@Timeless,

I don't know you, and you definitely don't know me.

The replies from @Undertaker666 were boorish and the namecalling above seems to have escaped your notice.

I don't put up with shenanigans from anyone...
