Remote syslog via dns or IPv6?

Hi,

I've got a virtualized x86 instance (18.06.04) running and all I would like to do is remote syslog to another machine.
I cannot enter an IPv6 address as it's marked invalid, so is the hostname.
Why is that? I don't even have lPv4 addresses in the network so I need IPv6 to work.

When I enter DNS name via uci setit let's me set IPv6 address or DNS name but both won't work.

It seems /etc/init.d/logd doesn't like names, but IPv6 should work I think.
Did you set system.@system[0].log_remote='1' and executed /etc/init.d/logd reload?

Yeah, it does work with IPv6 address, thank you.
