Rejected mail to my nas from routers ip?

I'm using a raspberry Pi 4B with openwrt version 24.10.0.

On my nas i'm recieving a mail every 5 minutes, that appears coming from my router. (my routers ip) Is this possible, or do I need to find the answer somewhere else?

The mail is rejected by my synology nas, so not really a problem, I'm only trying to find out why this is hapening.

When I block the mail ports on my router, the mail stops. (offcourse) The strange mail is stopped to, so maby not a router problem, but a spoofing issue?

Is this synology nas mail support forum?

If you did read my question, you would know that the question is about my openwrt router.

so If you have not anything usefull to say please stay out this threat.

Dude but without any inside in your config you will only get snarky answers. Or should I throw the chicken bones while starring into my Cristal ball....

Openwrt doesn't send/generate emails by itself, whatever's sending them would have been set up by you, intensionally, or unintentionally.

How are we supposed to know what you've set up ?

Usually you anñlyze maillog on a mail server (synology) which has collected erroneus smtp session record down to commands.
