With no TP Link 3040's available in Australia, I'm desparately trying to find a battery powered router that I can use to shoot wireless tethered from my Canon cameras. Am wondering is anyone has this 2019 version of the RAVPower AC750 filehub and whether they've had any similar success to what i'm trying to achieve. Any advice is grately appreciated. thanks

I think there are advantages to a quality, 5V router and a “cell-phone” battery pack (Li-ion), even if gaffer’s tape or glue is involved.
FYI - OpenWrt support for RP-WD009 has been added with https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=e959048c128e4350b78df653be7cd7277787518e
OpenWrt firmware images for RP-WD009 (Currently only snapshot support, therefore LuCI needs to be installed manually after flashing).
