Raspberry Pi 4 UE300 usb to ethernet not working

I just got my Pi and installed OpenWRT on it and when trying to get the WAN interface going I can't figure out why I can't see the USB dongle. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
AddInterface

From what I've read, I've got the drivers installed, I don't know if I need to start something now or add the new interface in linux or what?

Below is what I hope to be enough information for someone to help me out, thanks in advance.

Thank you, you're awesome!

no worries mate...

you wrote excellent detail and did all the appropriate groundwork, that is commendable... great example for others
:frog:

( and the only way I really knew driver it was was from trendy / other posts here - they don't exactly write it on the box for you :frowning: )
