Qualcomm Atheros QCA9886 802.11acn Device is not active

Hey Guys,

I've got a Linksys EA8300 router which is running OpenWrt 19.07.6 r11278-8055e38794 / LuCI openwrt-19.07 branch git-21.018.57536-6ba9740. I was on older versions before and always (even after a clean install) the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9886 802.11acn was shown as not active in luci. When I create a wifi for it, it would just say " Wireless is not associated" for said wifi. I saw it working once or twice, but this never lasted long. Mostly it just looks like this:

I'm wondering if this is a defect of the hardware of if I can figure out if there might be some interference that turns the device off (I read, that the spectrum >100 is shared with the weather radar).

Can you guys help me out here? The device is using Channels >100, I'm located in germany, if this matters.

Thank you in advance,
Autchi

the wifi can be detected by some devices? any logread?

... and if you use the Scan button, does it detect any nearby networks ?

no, it can't be detected (iPhone 11 Pro, Galaxy S8).

iw phy1 info: https://pastebin.com/3EucPn1j
iw phy2 info: https://pastebin.com/JagJmgQq
logread -f while wifi up radio0: https://pastebin.com/Wz4E3cxE

when I press the scan button the wifi of my neighbor shows up.

sorted it out, the countrycode was not set for said device, and after setting it I had to reboot the system (not only save and apply).
So always remember, reboot device if you set the country code and it doesn't work immediately.
Now it's up and running.
