Programitically simulate unplug / plug of usb on reboot wrt 24.10.1

im facing an issue mentioned here 4g dongle not showing as usb0 after reboot wrt 24.10.1 - #27 by redchilis the workaround is to

manually unplug and plug the usb dongle to get it to show up as usb0 in interfaces

is there a script / scheduled task that can simulate me manually un plugging the usb dongle and re plugging it on reboot/restart/power failure

i tried this

Try usbreset from usbutils package or better get yourself a better modem.
