Process for dealing with project rules being broken

Hi there,

I feel I've been wronged by others in the project. I've looked at the rules and consider them to have been violated. Unfortunately I can't find any information about what one should do if someone breaks the project rules. I've search these forums, the wiki, the web, etc. and no luck.

What is the process for dealing with breaking of the project rules? Who should be contacted and how?

Thanks,

rah

It would be nice if you would elaborate on why you feel wronged and what "rules" you are citing for this offense. Perhaps I can help you however, we do not have any formal process for enforcement short of polite requests to conform. Consider the "rules" as guidelines for behavior and processes which we hope people will voluntarily abide by as best they can.

Given the rules only seem to explain membership (or lack thereof), the privileges, administration of systems, the status of being a member, etc...

Are you saying one of these people offended you in some way relating to: membership, voting, software commits, procurement of inappropriate infrastructure for the project, failure to use the 3-person administration policy on a system, using an OpenWrt.org email account...

:light_bulb: Or by not being nice to you?

(Might I suggest the Community Guidelines as a [better] guide as well.)

Edit: And privately messaging @moderators

You'll need to provide a link to what it is you're referring to because I'm not aware of any "Community Guidelines" and having searched the wiki, these forums and the web, I can find none.
