My goal is to completely mirror my OpenWRT setup on a R7800 to an Archer A6 V3 (both dumb access points). Given the age of the R7800, I would like a drop-in replacement if the power supply burns out or if the hardware fails.
My question: how portable are the backup tarballs luci generates? Is it possible to load a backup tarball from one device to another? For example, uploading the fully configured R7800's tarball to an Archer A6 V3. I can see issue with hardware differences (old switch interface vs new).
