Please help configuring PPPoE for Bell fiber (Canada)

Hi there. I'm looking for some help configuring the PPPoE for Bell. It works with an old version of OpenWRT. Yesterday I installed an upgrade with the latest version and I can't figure out how to set the same parameters and I end up with the 'PPPoE: timeout waiting for PADO packet' error.
Bell needs VLAN 35 on the WAN interface. I'm using an TP Link sfp converter, so my wan port is eth0. This is how it looks like with the old version which works:

In the new version of OpenWRT I created the eth0.35 interface and assigned it to WAN. Set up the (known good as it works with the previous version) username and password. Is there anything I would need to set? I can't see any 'tagging' related settings in the new version. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I saw it, but it doesn't seem to help. :frowning:

Is the new version still swconfig or has your chipset been converted to DSA?

In DSA you can just change the wan interface device from wan to wan.35 to emit tagged packets on the wan physical port.

Thank you Mike, that was the solution. Created a new device wan.35 and set that up in the wan interface. In the previous version eth0.35 had to be the device.
