PBR getting Error saying https no supported

I've read the ReadMe and searched here but keep getting an error saying "HTTPS" is not supported in PBR when I try to add:
https://spcb.stickypassword.com
https://spclouddata.s3.amazonaws.com
https://spcloudsharedb.s3.amazonaws.com

https://stickypassword.com
Saying that Ive just restarted it and now it is happy, but most times it is not. The ReadMe file it links to says https:// is supported.
Any idea what is going on? Why is it sometimes happy and sometimes not and why am I getting that specific error?
Have added rules to Adguard Home (running on local machine) to allow them but they weren't getting blocked anyway.

Incidentally sticky password is a password manager. It doesn't like VPN.

this is the error I get most of the time.

disenabled that policy and its gone away

Remove wget and optionally install wget-ssl

Either install wget -ssl or install curl

thanks but now I can't start pbr. Figured I would just remove and reinstall PBR but now I can't remove the pbr package. Luci just freezes saying opkg installing, On terminal it says something about a opkg lock but there is no file where it says. I think it has uninstalled pbr as the interface has gone and it is not in startup. I;m thinking there is somewhere a pbr file I need to delete: any idea?

thanks. hopefully it works when I can reinstall pbr.

after ages:

this is the error I get in Lucy

and then in terminal
image
but that file doesn't exist. I looked in the folder. Plus I've tried other packages and they install fine.

this is everything in that folder

Just installed nano fine

but now there is an opkg.lock file, but it's empty

but pbr package is unistalled. but I can't reinstall it
image

and with terminal

but opkg.lock is empty (I think).

Lock files are usually empty.

Their existence signals a running application.

Just reboot that usually helps

It got reinstalled despite the errors. Do I still need to reboot?

plus no https errors for once.

I would reboot to get a clean start

thanks. Will do

the service gateways bit is now blank, but it is running. Have previously put interfaces in advanced tab (in lower case) and default is to wan Using it to type now. Does it matter?

IPv4 interfaces anyway. Just spotted wan6 isn't there

This is what I mean

Is there a command to see if it actualty running fine?

the obvious one "pbr status" results in "-ash: pbr: not found"
