Four-core Lan cable (or take 8-core and corrupt one of them)

Hey guys, I'm new to openwrt. I just use XMiR-Patcher to install the 23.05 firmware on a new AX3000T which the original firmware is 1.0.84. Fortunately, it works perfectly well. But I just wanna know, how can I update the firmware. Is facinstall mentioned above OK for this? Or I still can follow the official method:

Oh, sorry, I just found the dashboard itself can flush new firmware. So I just need to upload a new version sysupgrade.bin file. Is that right?

Correct. If you are already running OpenWrt, next time just upgrade using the sysupgrade images (the special procedure is just required the first time when replacing the factory firmware with OpenWrt). See more details here:

I did change my Desktop pc from 2.5Gbe to 100Mbps and attached it to LAN2.
Wifi was on the same bridge with LAN1,LAN2 and LAN3.Only my pc connected on the LAN port.Wan Port going to my ISP ONT.
WAN was PPPoe Vlan tagged as per my ISP.
I did speedtest (ookla) on my wifi phone and I could reach max as per my internet subscription (500Mbps DOWN/100Mbps UP with LAN2 @ 100Mbps attched to mi ax3000t switch.No problem at all.
Im using Dimfishr latest 2024-11-30 build with WED on, Hardware offload on,stubby package and adblock-lean on.

Hi everyone,

I have two Xiaomi AX3000T RD23 routers, but unfortunately, I didn’t back up the original firmware (INT) before installing OpenWRT. I’m trying to revert to the stock firmware with the original bootloader.

When I hold the reset button, the router enters Failsafe mode, and the LED turns blue. However, I’m not sure how to proceed to restore the original firmware properly.

Additionally, after installing OpenWRT, I’m encountering the following errors related to the WiFi:

It seems like it’s failing to load the EEPROM file for the WiFi chip.

Does anyone know how I can:

  1. Restore the original INT firmware with the original bootloader?
  2. Fix the WiFi issue on OpenWRT?

About eeprom,
Try to check data in the Factory mtd partitions with help command:

cat /dev/mtd3 | head -c10 | hexdump

Should return:

0000000 7981 0000 d8cc b443 8a59

‘7981' string - ID of our chip, and this data can mean that the EEPROM is not corrupted.

Can someone guide me on the steps to properly restore the original firmware with the stock bootloader?

I’d really appreciate any advice or instructions.

If you have damaged the factory partition, then returning to stock will not fix the WiFi problem!!!

And it’s easier to restore this partition from under OpenWrt.

Currently, the router only goes into Failsafe mode, and I can access it at 192.168.1.1.

How can I restore the factory partition and get back to the original firmware? :frowning:

Factory partition should be restored from your own or alien backup - openwrt will not start wifi network (and stock too) without eeprom

And as I remember, mac for wifi is located in the factory partition (for lan & wan in the bdata)
