Hello everyone,
I am using a Xiaomi AX3000T with the latest OpenWrt 24.10.3 and have noticed a strange anomaly that I cannot find a solution for.
My setup:
The router runs in repeater mode. It connects to my main FRITZ!Box via 5 GHz Wi-Fi (wwan2) and thus provides Internet access for its own LAN and Wi-Fi clients.
The problem:
The download speeds are perfect on all devices (both LAN and Wi-Fi) and reach the maximum. However, there is a massive discrepancy when uploading:
Clients on the WLAN: Achieve the full 40 Mbps upload speed.
Clients on the LAN cable: Are throttled to only ~2.5 Mbps upload speed.
What I have already tried unsuccessfully:
Replaced the LAN cable.
Tried all LAN ports on the router.
Checked the connection speed: According to the log, the link between the PC and the router is correctly negotiated at 1 Gbit/s full duplex. So the problem is not with the physical connection.
Activated software and hardware flow offloading.
Deactivated packet steering.
Ensured that no SQM / QoS is active.
Thank you very much for your help!
