OpenWrt support for AnonaBox Pro

Hi Team,
the AnonaBox project is unfortunately dead!

AnonaBox used a customized version of OpenWrt, with several applications installed by default!

But the last firmware (4.9.41) was released in June 2019, almost four years ago! :frowning:

So I ask if it is possible to support this router!

I can help you if you need information and details about the board!

I can provide you with some information found in the control panel of the router:

Blockquote
Architecture: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9533 ver 2 rev 0
Firmware Version: OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r7878-d1ea8ac / LuCI Master (git-18.232.74480-b93d3f3)
Kernel Version: 4.9.120
Memory Total Available: 91128 kB / 124940 kB (72%)
Memory Free: 85248 kB / 124940 kB (68%)
Memory Buffered: 5880 kB / 124940 kB (4%)

Firmware Vers. 4.9.41 LuCI Master (git-18.232.74480-b93d3f3)
OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r7878-d1ea8ac

I opened the router and I think I read QCA9531 and not QCA9533 above the chipset! :man_shrugging:

Also in the mainboard I find this abbreviation written: F-M E351308 94V-0
But I don't think it is specific to this board, I find many other different results online.

If I can help you please write to me, I hope it is possible to update the board with newer firmware!

Thanks
Andrea

Probably yes, but you will have to do the work since you are the one with the hardware. It looks like it has 128MB RAM, what about flash?

See the following Wiki article on how to do it: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/hw.hacking.first.steps and https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/add.new.device

According to https://proprivacy.com/router/review/anonabox
and https://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/anonabox_pro_tor_vpn/5.htm, it has got 128MB RAM and 64MB flash memory.
