OpenWRT One Temperatures: What to expect?

Just got my OpenWRT One router and I'm using it as a dumb AP. There are 12 devices connected to it through Wi-Fi (both 2.4 and 5) and there is also another device connected to its 1G port. So I'm using it fairly heavily. Attached is the temps of the CPU. It's stable around 68C. Is it normal? Should I be looking into an active fan solution maybe?

My mediatek/filogic:zyxel,nwa50ax-pro is at that same 68C most of the time, so that's sounds about right.

I can see 105C at 1800mbps 2xLAN -> WLAN on my mt7981 device xD

68c is actually pretty cool. I've seen upwards of 85c on other routers (that's idle) and that is considered safe. After like 95c I'd start to get slightly concerned but even that is just probably due to where you live.

Reminder that high spec CPUs have a TJMax of just over 100c even with elegant cooling solutions before performance is limited.

OK that is good to hear thanks! Coming from PC background, the temperatures just seemed high but looks like it's not for the router world
