Openwrt One September status?

Is there any information that can be shared about the state of the openwrt one router?

It's been a couple months since we heard some devices were manufactured for design validation testing. It's a really interesting device, so we're all interested in hearing about how things are going with it, even just to learn what it takes to embark on a project like this.

I'm speculating this will be announced only when 24.x is finished?
Which is still tracking for this year? Maybe even as early as October?
