OpenWrt installation on TP-Link Archer C7 v5

Hello I just have this router and I’m trying to use this file

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/21.02.2/targets/ath79/generic/openwrt-21.02.2-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs-factory.bin

I rename it and upload it via tftp without issue but the router cannot boot it

I tried with the oficial and I had no issue but only with openwrt

Any suggestions??

See "V5 OEM fw" specifics: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c7#installation_using_web_interface

thanks for the answer
now im trying this:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.2/targets/ath79/generic/openwrt-19.07.2-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs-factory.bin

but on the UI it says: invalid file type, i renamed it to firmware.bin

this is the official fw that i have: 1.2.0 Build 20211210 rel.51212(5553)

also tried via tftp and still no boot after upgrading openwrt

i downgrade mi official fw now i can install firmware.bin but still after that router wont boot, im using 19.07.2

Hello,
Did you ever find an answer? I have an A7 and C7 version 5s. I can only TFTP openWRT version 22.03.3 but I need to install version 17 because otherwise, the logic that we built to manage wireless users doesn't work. If I TFTP version 17, it just doesn't do anything. No matter what I do. If I try to do it through tplink, i get the invalid file message for 17. I have tried to find a lower one that I could install but I have not been able to do this.
