OpenWRT for RG-EW3000GX-PRO

Hi,

I'm new here and I'm looking for information on how to build OpenWRT for RG-EW3000GX-PRO, based on MT7981. (EW3200GX is different hw)
I see some attempts and requests here in the forum but no solution.
Any guidance is appreciated.

Lets start - can you get system boot log or ssh or telnet connection from OEM firmware?
What is in nmap -A <device IP> ?

Device looks fairly supportable.

No obvious command line from the network.

Does the case look easy to open like 4 visible phillips screwa on the back?

You will need to check if you can enter bootloader and netboot a kernel from a similar device. Guess is 3.3V but unless confirmed in place it is best to get 1.8/3.3/5V switchable USB TTL adapter.
