Openwrt firmware version update invalid

My current openwrt version: OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r21995-059263dd6e
Kernel version: 5.15.91
Model: Redmi AX6
I want to update to the highest openwrt version supported by the current model:openwrt 23.05.4

However, when I used the downloaded sysupgrade bin file to upload and update, it showed that the version could be upgraded normally, but when I re-entered the openwrt background program, it was still the original old version.
Why does this happen and how to solve it? I hope you can give me some advice. Thank you very much.

What "background program"?

23.05.4 has not been released, it's still in the process of building. Any attempts to install it are not guaranteed to work, you should use 23.05.3 until the new release has been completed, tested and announced.

That's 192.168.1.1

I've tried all 23.05.4, 23.05.3 and 023.05.2 and even the latest snapshot version, but none of them worked

You must reset configuration moving away from snapshot. You can back it up and re-type via luci.

Does it mean that the current snapshot version must be reset before it can be upgraded?

Yes, correct.

First try normal upgrade -> may fail or land you resetting device in failsafe mode
Seconf - try upgrade with resetting settings, especially mid-versions of snapshot config files may not ever get migrated
Third - reset old firmware to defaults and then upgrade
Four - omplain loud

You did in different order, but thats OK generally, one learns with time.
