OpenWrt compatibility with crosstool-ng

Hi,

I am trying to compile OpenWRT with external toolchain generated with crosstool-ng.

I am facing compilation issues pasted here with the toolchain generated by crosstool-ng. Though I could pack the OpenWRT toolchain and use it as external toolchain, I would like to know the OpenWRT compatibility with crosstool generated by crosstool-ng.

OpenWrt is built- and tested with its own toolchain build, for everything else you're on your own.

I take that as ..

OpenWRT doesn't guarantee to work with other toolchains except it's own.

Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks
