Openwrt 24.10.0 wifi network setup

I found a small issue with the release and want to confirm if it is bug.
I am not able to change wifi's network setting, say from lan to iot or another vlan) after upgraded to 24.10.x .

I need to manually edit the /etc/config/wireless file to reflect the change.

Thank God Openwrt only supports one piece of hw, otherwise you'd have had to tell us stuff about your device and setup, right ?

i am not asking for a particular hw issue, its generic issue found in 24.10.x release.
May be other users has the same issue with their hw as well. if you need to know the hw i use : Netgear rbr50v1 and Redmi ax6000, and cmcc ax3000m. all three model has the same issue.
