Also, could be a couple of days as Paul is working through ASU server issues, which are impacting upgrades for users of Firmware Selector, LuCI Attended Sysupgrade, auc and owut (but not users of imagebuilder or direct downloads site, who should still wait for the official announcement).

Looking forward to reading the official announcement. So far no tplink_re205_v3 in 23.05.4. Hope to get rid of snapshots.
Was it supported in 23.05.3? If not, chances of a backport are slim to none (see OpenWrt One - celebrating 20 years of OpenWrt - #375 by Lanchon for some links to reasons why).
