That's understandable if you haven't been through it before. I've always thought this should be linked from everywhere:
There is always an excitement and enthusiasm as new stable releases start showing up on the downloads page -- and that is great! As of this moment, 21.02.3 and 19.07.10 are currently building, but they are not complete nor are they announced (current versions are still 21.02.2 and 19.07.9). Over time, the 'current' and upcoming versions will be different, but the same principles apply.

Also, could be a couple of days as Paul is working through ASU server issues, which are impacting upgrades for users of Firmware Selector, LuCI Attended Sysupgrade, auc
and owut
(but not users of imagebuilder or direct downloads
site, who should still wait for the official announcement).

as of 7/17 ASU has stopped working attempting to perform a upgrade just results … in nothing happening
visting the firmware selector webpage and requesting a build also doesn't work
visting the api page returns not found:

Was it supported in 23.05.3? If not, chances of a backport are slim to none (see OpenWrt One - celebrating 20 years of OpenWrt - #375 by Lanchon for some links to reasons why).
