OpenVPN xorpatch

Good evening,

Just switched from OpenWRT to the latest 17.01.1 release.

I've been running OpenVPN for quite a long time and I have noticed that there is an OpenVPN xorpatch that has been around for quite a while.

How would one go about applying this to work on OpenWRT? - https://github.com/clayface/openvpn_xorpatch

I am not a developer but I am technically minded so any help would be appreciated.

I managed to find a blog which went through the steps to compile a patched IPK file which works well.

If anybody would like me to share the patched IPK for mips_24kc then just let me know.
