OpenJDK 8 on OpenWRT?

Any one actually was able to successfully install OpenJDK on OpenWRT? I don't see any package avalible, so most likely that means we CAN NOT COMPILE OpenWRT with it so that OpenJDK is within the firmware? Any idea, information or suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You have your answer.

If you want JAVA, you'd need to package it yourself - and not a prehistoric version.

ya, thank you for the reply, although I found another hurdle, our router runs on MediaTek 7621 which is MIPS architecture which I can't find a support for it. It seems they only have it for x86 and ARMS...

Do you have internet, like world outside ticktock?
