Just wondering, would support for this device be in the realm of possibilities?

I have one of these lying around and I'd be willing to try.

tl;dr: no

  • RAM is below minimum system requirements, this is a hard disqualification
  • flash is below minimum system requirements for 25.xy and up
  • mt7620 is a bit tired
  • Econet is very bad in terms of FOSS drivers
  • the situation in general for GPON drivers is bad, as those are in a similar situation as cable/ docsis modems
