I just received a new router from someone. It is a Linksys AX5400 E9450. Is anyone aware of anybody else that is attempting to install any of the 3rd party firmwares on this router? I really want to run 3rd party firmware and got this router for free. I'm hoping to run Openwrt or some other firmware without having to buy another router since I already have this one.
(for some reason wikidev showed me the wrong device)
Broadcom, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I'm pretty certain this is a qualcomm SoC. Perhaps related:
It is also known as the MX5500.
What makes you think they're perhaps related ?
Linksys appear to use multiple model numbers depending on sky (single or multipacks). My guess was that this was the case here, or at least that they were similar enough to be "somewhat related" ;).
Here's the Linksys product page that confirms Qualcomm:
Here's the other one, and the specs are actually quite different:
except OPs device was called AX5400/E9450
Whoops, ok. I'll leave my mistake up for posterity and learn to stop using AXxxxx signifiers as model numbers!
Or you could delete all your posts, and pretend they never happened ,)
(I'll delete mine too)
A model number does not imply a certain SoC or radio, between revisions hardware can differ wildly. Netgear at one point e.g. had 5 revisions of its popular WNDR3700; they managed to source the SoCs from four different vendors for those revisions
